BERLIN, Sept. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GOSIGHT today unveiled P1, its first all-in-one binocular full-color AI+AR glasses, ahead of the product’s public debut at IFA Berlin 2026. Built around full-color Micro-OLED displays and a seamless hot-swappable power architecture, P1 advances a clear proposition for the category’s next phase: full-color AR must move beyond proving that an image can appear in front of the eye and make that experience practical enough to remain in use.

Full color that keeps going

Full-color displays place sustained demand on a compact wearable battery. In fixed-battery designs, that demand often ends in the same interruption: stop, remove the glasses and wait. P1 addresses the constraint at the architecture level. An internal bridge battery works with a removable external battery, allowing the external module to be exchanged while the system is designed to remain active—without shutting down or restarting.

This is not a promise of infinite battery life. It is a more useful shift in behavior: a depleted module no longer has to end the session. With charged modules available, one battery can take over from another while P1 keeps running. Additional battery modules and a charging case are intended to support longer days. Final endurance, swap time and the functions maintained during a swap will be published under defined test conditions before crowdfunding begins.

A 105-inch view, with optics that still look like eyewear

P1 combines binocular 0.3-inch Micro-OLED displays with a full-color array-waveguide optical system. It targets a virtual image equivalent to a 105-inch screen viewed from six meters (approximately 19.7 feet), with 60 Hz presentation, automatic brightness adjustment, low distortion and high contrast. The system is being tuned for the moments where clarity matters most—from navigation cues and live captions to a camera viewfinder and video.

GOSIGHT’s definition of a good-looking display also includes what happens when the display is off. P1 targets optical transmittance above 85 percent, while a GlaxReality-backed optical design is engineered to suppress rainbow artifacts, grid-like texture and outward light leakage. For the wearer, that means a cleaner, more legible image. For everyone else, it means lenses that remain visually open and natural instead of announcing the technology inside them.

Designed to be worn, not merely demonstrated

P1 starts from the silhouette of everyday glasses rather than a headset, targeting an overall weight of approximately 69 grams. Symmetrical optical windows, forged-carbon-fiber-texture temples and six planned color and finish combinations give the frame a recognizable identity without turning it into a costume. Interchangeable polarized sun lenses are designed to move the same frame from indoor settings into brighter outdoor environments. Final styles and included accessories will vary by market and configuration.

See the frame before the shutter—and make privacy visible

A 12-megapixel camera aligned with the wearer’s line of sight supports first-person photography and 1080p video. Unlike camera glasses that leave composition to guesswork, P1 is designed to place a live viewfinder in the binocular display, allowing users to confirm the frame before capture. Dual microphones provide the hardware base for recorded audio, voice interaction and meeting notes.

Capture is bounded by privacy hardware that both the wearer and people nearby can understand. A hardware-linked indicator is designed to illuminate whenever the camera is active; if that indicator is obstructed or compromised, the camera is intended to stop. An optional physical camera cover adds an unmistakable layer of control for offices, meeting rooms and other camera-sensitive spaces.

AI and audio, placed where they are useful

P1 brings its binocular display, camera, microphones, open-ear speakers and onboard computing together around practical moments: face-to-face captions and translation, photo translation, object recognition, teleprompter prompts, meeting notes, voice assistance, and heads-up navigation for walking and cycling. The goal is not to add AI as a label, but to surface the right information without repeatedly pulling the user back to a handheld screen.

Open-ear audio supports calls, media and spoken guidance while preserving awareness of the surrounding environment. Feature availability may vary by software version, region, language, network connection and companion-device requirements. GOSIGHT will publish the final launch feature set before orders open.
